Synechocystis sp. strain PCC 6803 was grown in BG11-medium [44] at 30°C under continuous illumination with white light of 120 μmol of photons m −2 s −1 and a continuous stream of air. The optical density of the culture was monitored by measuring the absorbance at 750 nm. Cultures were synchronized with three cycles of light/dark 12 h:12 h prior sampling. |
